Fort Worth, TX— ECi Software Solutions (www.ECiSolutions.com) today announced the acquisition of Naverisk Limited, the developer of a SaaS-based Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) and Service Desk solution designed to help managed services providers (MSPs) and other IT service professionals support their customers more effectively. This acquisition furthers ECi’s mission of empowering the entrepreneurial spirit and profitable growth of small to medium sized businesses worldwide by expanding its breadth of service offerings.
“We consider the addition of Naverisk to ECi a vital component in our efforts to further support and strengthen our service technology customers,” said Ron Books, ECi’s President and CEO. “We have identified IT services as a market that is growing rapidly, and with a large segment of our user base focused in that sector, providing a solution to support their expansion efforts is critical. In our discovery, we found Naverisk to be innovative and unique with its unified solution for RMM and service desk management. With a web-based cloud model and a reputation for being powerful and easy to use, it is the perfect complement to our existing products.
“ECi currently provides solutions to Managed Print Services providers which collectively monitor more than 6 million devices across the globe,” Books continued. “Naverisk, combined with our FMAudit® and e-automate® software, will create a powerhouse option for all MSPs and IT service providers who wish to improve or expand their offerings.”
Naverisk founder and CEO Jon Kalaugher expressed similar sentiments and excitement regarding the acquisition.
“Naverisk has been growing rapidly since its launch in 2010 and today serves customers in more than 20 countries,” said Kalaugher, who will stay on with ECi as President of Naverisk. “While we were not looking to sell, when approached by ECi it became quickly apparent that our companies had numerous synergies and were like minded in our strategic approach to business expansion and customer care. Like Naverisk, ECi is committed to the IT sector and the continued goal of providing technology solutions that will fuel the success of small and medium sized businesses. Joining ECi provides us with a framework for even more accelerated growth and the tremendous opportunity to create world-class solutions for MSPs.”
“As managed IT and managed print services converge, our mutual customers will gain a distinct competitive advantage by being able to offer a comprehensive solution for both IT and print devices,” Books concluded. “Joining forces now will allow us to better serve this industry and our customers at a time when innovative, leading-edge technology is essential to improving and growing a business.”
ECi and Naverisk are privately held companies and the terms of the deal were not disclosed.
